BEDC HIRES FORMER JOURNALIST AND CONGRESSIONAL SPOKESWOMAN AS DIRECTOR OF OUTBOUND COMMUNICATIONS

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (Feb. 1, 2017) —The Brownsville Economic Development Council (BEDC) announces the hiring of Patricia Guillermo to serve as the Director of Outbound Communications. Ms. Guillermo’s career includes decades of investigative reporting in broadcast news locally as well as internationally. Most recently Ms. Guillermo served as Communications Director in Washington, D.C. for now retired U.S. Congressman Ruben Hinojosa.
